About Nicole

I started Spirited Impact five years ago with a single purpose; to empower people by teaching them to work with their bodies, which in turn, would shape who they are and unlock the limitless potential and wisdom that lies within all of us.
I have always seen the best in people and put a positive spin on any situation. Ever since I can remember, my friends, family, and even perfect strangers, have felt comfortable opening up, and always found an empathetic ear free of judgment. I wasn’t sure if this was enough to build a career, or even what to call it. All I knew was that my training in Martial Arts had changed me so dramatically that I wanted to share and add to it in my own way.
As the idea of a business began to take form my husband’s company suddenly transferred us to Minneapolis. We had been happily living in San Diego. I had also just learned about life coaching, and was about to receive my Black Belt in kickboxing. I had been training for 4 years with Grand Master Paul LeBlanc, http://www.leblancskickbox.com/, an incredible teacher and healer. Things were changing quickly and it was a difficult time. However, it was also a great opportunity for me to start working on my dreams instead of working for someone else. So after the move, a lot of soul searching, and a chance encounter with an entrepreneurial neighbor who believed in my ideas the minute they fell out of my mouth (www.entertainingtheidea.com/), I signed up for a Coaching Program at www.thecoaches.com.
I really had no idea what to expect but have never had a problem jumping into things without much information. I showed up for the first day of class and by the end of the day, I KNEW this was the right decision. As an added bonus I met some amazing kindred spirits from all walks of life who very quickly became my dear friends. I was blown away! I could barely speak by the end of the day (if you known me this is RARE). The possibilities were so exciting and inspiring. This is what I was born to do!
By the time classes finished, I had already built a base of Coaching clientele, faced my own demons and felt the absolute satisfaction of helping others truly step into their power and find purpose and direction in their lives.
The coaching works for my clients because I do the work too. This continues to be the core of my business. I use my knowledge, experiences, pain, and joy while putting my whole heart and soul into everything I do. Coaching has the most impact when you are willing to look at yourself and your life from different perspective and commit to being a life long learner.
In 2010 my business and dreams have continued to evolve:

• We have helped many groups of students and staff in elementary through high school to breakthrough limiting beliefs, dare to dream and set attainable goals for the future.
• I have added to my coaching training and am now an Intrinsic Coach (www.totallycoached.com) this training helps people find their best thinking and live happier healthier lives. AND, we are back in lovely San Diego!
Most importantly I have learned that my work is simply to help people get out of their own way and tap into what they already know. This sounds simple, but it takes practice and like everything else has its ups and downs. My commitment is be a warrior for your dreams and in your corner every step of the way.
