I started Spirited Impact three years ago with a single purpose; to bring out the best in people by helping them work on their bodies, which in turn, would shape who they are and move them forward in life.

I realize now that I have always been able to see the best in people and put a positive spin on any situation.  Ever since I can remember, my friends, family, and even perfect strangers, have felt comfortable opening up to me, and have found an empathetic ear free of judgment.  I wasn't sure if this was enough to build a career, or even what to call it. All I knew was that my training in Martial Arts had changed my life so dramatically that I wanted to share what I learned and add to it in my own way.

In 2004 my husband and I received news that he was being transferred to Minneapolis (we were happily living in San Diego at the time). I had just learned about life coaching from a friend, and was about to receive my Black Belt in kickboxing.  I had been training for over four years with Grand Master Paul LeBlanc, (http://www.leblancskickbox.com/), the greatest teacher and healer I have ever known. Things were changing very quickly. I would have to leave my immediate family, my Kick Boxing family, my friends and somehow get used to the idea of my husband traveling three weeks out of every month...not to mention my reintroduction to winters in Minnesota.

This was a very difficult time, but I realized it was also a great opportunity for me to start working on my own dreams instead of working for someone else. So after the move, a little soul searching, and a chance encounter with an entrepreneurial neighbor who believed in my ideas the minute they fell out of my mouth (http://www.entertainingtheidea.com/), I decided to explore Life Coaching.

(http://www.thecoaches.com/).  I really had no idea what I was in for, but I have never had a problem jumping into things without much information.  I showed up for the first day of class and by the end of the day I knew that I was exactly where I was supposed to be. As an added bonus I met some amazing kindred spirits from all walks of life who very quickly became my dear friends.  I was blown away! I could barely speak by the end of the day (if you known me this is RARE). I was just so excited and inspired by the possibilities.  I knew this was what I was born to do!

By the time I finished my classes, I had already built a base of Coaching clientele, faced my own demons and felt the absolute satisfaction of helping others truly step into their power and find purpose and direction in their lives.

The coaching worked because I did the work, too.  This is the core of my business.  I use my knowledge, my experiences, my pain, my joy and put my whole heart and soul into everything I do and everyone I work with.  Coaching has the most impact when you chose to do the work. Over the years I have continued to learn and add to my Coaching offering.  Today, I use a variety of tools , including Martial Arts, Yoga, Meditation and essential oils, to help people break through what holds them back and find meaning and purpose in their Body, Mind and Spirit.
